Book Review Title: Mixed Bags Author: Melody Carlson Age: Teen-Young Adult Mixed Bags is a realistic fiction book for many young teens. The main character is DJ, a athletic girl who's mother pasted away and whose father doesn't want her. She how lives with her grandmother in the Carter House. This novel tells all about the experiences she has with five other girls from snobs, Chritians, Goths and the like. She learns to accept God and ignor the comments. But in her haste to fit in with the other fashion worthy girls, the boy she cares about losses intrest in her because she's changing. This heart-to-heart tale is wonderfull for any young teen and is a wonderfull example of how God can work in our lives.
