Free Resume Writing Class
The Smithville Public Library is offering a free "Resume Writing" workshop for area residents who are out of work or looking for a better paying job. The library will present the workshop twice, Thursday September 16th from 1 to 3 p.m., and Saturday, September 18th from 10 a.m. to noon.
The workshop will take place at the library and space is limited. No reservations are required, so seating is on a first-come basis. Attendees can bring a current copy of their resume and other materials. Along with resume writing, the workshop will discuss cover letters, interviewing, and follow-ups.
